How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
You speak with an independent water damage restoration provider in our network. Subjectboom Restoration makes the introduction. The provider answers your questions, assesses the job and quotes the work.
The provider is a separate business. Any agreement you make is with them directly.
What Happens on the Call
Expect a short, practical conversation. The provider will usually ask:
- Where is the water, and where did it come from?
- How long has it been there?
- What materials are wet: carpet, drywall, subfloor, furniture?
- Has the power been shut off in the affected area?
Answers help the provider judge how big the job is. Some will offer a visit to inspect. Many providers can respond quickly, but availability varies. Request a callback to check provider availability.
What to Ask a Provider
Write these down before you call.
- Do you handle water extraction and structural drying?
- Are you licensed and insured? Can you show proof?
- What will the estimate include, and is it in writing?
- How long might drying take?
- How will you handle noise, access and daily routines in my home?
- Can you help document the damage for an insurance claim?
Typical costs vary widely by job size, water type and materials. Get a written quote before agreeing to anything.
You Are in Control
You choose whether to hire a provider. You can request more than one estimate. You can ask for time to think. A good provider will explain, not push.
Plan around life. If you work from home or have kids in school, say so. Ask the provider to schedule around it where possible.
